A life learning experience. What i learned there i have carried with me through out my life and for that i am eturnaly greatful.
I was a student at Atterbury Job corps in 86/87 my life was going nowhere. Atterbury Job corps change my life.the trade I completed cared me a long way and I still use my skills.Culinare arts is what I completed. The instructor she was a marvelous person. Thanks Ms.paine.and because of job corps Atterbury. I do cooking shows on cable television and YouTube chef emmet o1 o2 I 03 so wHat I would like to say if you are serious and want to really change your life then it is the place for you. You get what you put out in this place. It's basically a last stop shop for guys either at a fork in the road ready to throw away their future, or make something of themselves, no middle. I graduated with my high school equivalency diploma at age 16 and a business clerical certificate all within 4 months of being there. I didn't mess around. Glad I went there.
Lol job Corp is a joke kids are sexual pigs there for a good time, dirty place n by dirty I mean I was only there 2 week an got scabies, food terrible. Wouldn't so this unless you homeless but even then I'd rather sleep on the streets

Great education for people who want to try... but horribly dangerous for the timid or shy alot of bullying goes on and half of the population is under 18 the age group is from 16 to 24 when I was there approximately 60 percent were placed there by the courts and didn't want to be there or try to learn so the ones like myself who went to try and further their education and couldn't afford to go to college or trade school it was much more difficult to actually learn but it also is a great place for the financially challenged to get a free (slightly paid ) education and help to better yourself is infinitely at your fingertips so its a great and bad place at the same time and finally if you are female or are sending a female chances are that you or her will become pregnant before leaving this place it's 90 percent male ! so be cautious
